Welcome!  Greenwater Aquarist Society is an all species, general-interest Aquarium Society in the Greater Chicagoland Area that has been around since 1957!  Come to one of our events or join us as a guest at one of our monthly meetings.   Meet and socialize with others interested in the aquarium hobby and get access to fish and plants raised by hobbyists.

Open to the Public.  Parking is Free.
Buyers will be allowed in at 10:00 am.  Free -- No Entry fee!

Greenwater Aquarist Society of Chicagoland's Swap Meet
Buy hard to find fish, plants, and dry goods directly from local breeders and vendors in a farmer's market atmosphere at the best prices. 
The swap will run from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Free -- No Entry fee!
Doors will open at 8:00 am for vendor set up.

Greenwater Aquarist Society of Chicagoland Meeting after Swap:
Sunday May 15, 2022 at 1pm - 4pm CDT

Please join us at our Monthly Meeting.
Meetings are open to Members or attend as a Guest.
We will have Refreshments, Program, Bowl Show, Auction, and Raffle.
Cost: Please bring an appetizer, dish, or dessert to share (Not Mandatory). 
     No Cost to Members, you may bring a guest.
     No Cost for Luncheon.
     Auction -- Members can bring up to 10 items and keep 100% of proceeds. 
     Guests are welcome to purchase items.
     RSVP Not Necessary.
Itinerary:
(10:00 am Swap Meet)
12:00pm: Meal & Refreshments. We will be serving Italian Sausage, Hot Dogs and Sides.
As always, members are more than welcome to bring appetizers, snacks, and desserts to share!
Enjoy a meal and socialize with other hobbyists about your specific interests.  Being an all species club with a large monthly attendance, you are sure to find that there are several other members with similar aquatic collections to your own.
1:15 pm Bowl Show
1:30 pm Club Auction! Members are encouraged to bring fish, plants, decorations, and aquarium supplies to be sold at our mini auction. Limit of ten items per seller.

2:30 pm Prize Raffle.  

3:00 pm Program A: Moderated Discussion Tables
3:00 pm Program B: Club Business and Board Meeting


Bowl Show --  Tetras, Barbs, and Loaches



Bowl Show --   Crustaceans, Amphibious Creatures, Guppies
Prize Raffle 
Driftwood, Flake Food, Pellets, Sponge Filters, Gravel, Sand, and more.

Fundraising Raffle Note:  Listing of brand names indicates items donated to Greenwater Aquarist Society by those manufacturers.  Greenwater wishes to thank those manufacturers for their generous support. 
Monthly Auction:
   Donations welcome for the Monthly Auction.
   BAP & AHAP donated items.
   Members can bring up to 10 items for 100 percent proceeds.
   Only Members can sell in the Monthly Auction.
   Pricing options available for items:
      1. It sells for what it sells for
      2. Minimum Bid
      3. Buy it Now - members have option to sell before start of Auction

   Guests are welcome to purchase items.
